Mr. Roman Kofler - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Roman Kofler, an Austrian native, founded Hospitality Solution in the year 2010, based on his 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. Romans career path started in the late 80’s, early 90’s when starting with Casino Austria doing his apprenticeship. After several years working on “seasonal employments” it took not too long and Roman went to work for the Cruises Industry and his first vessel was the “Fedor Dostojevski” (known also as the German “Traumschiff” and later called M/S Astor). He stood for quite a while on seven seas and worked his way up from Barman to Bar Manager and F&B Manager with only 21 years old. Driven by more opportunities, he decided to change company and ended up working for prestigious Cruise Companies such as NCL, Festival Cruises linked to Hilton Floating Resorts, Princess Cruise Line and last but not least, in a Corporate Role for Holland America Line.
After nearly 6 years on seven seas and nearly 2 years as Corporate Director he returned to the Hotel Industry where he held positions as Food & Beverage Director in France, Tunisia, Switzerland, Austria and Ukraine before stepping up to General Manager in countries such Montenegro, Romania, Egypt, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Roman worked for many prestigious properties including Relaix & Chateau Hotels, Great Hotels of the World, Leading Hotels of the World, the Ramada/Wyndham hotel chain as well as for Hilton International.
Roman opened several hotels including the Doubletree by Hilton Oradea / Romania, the Ramada Oradea / Romania, the Ramada Sibiu / Romania as well as the Landmark Hotel in Baku / Azerbaidjan. Currently Hospitality Solutions is involved in projects in the Ukraine, Poland, Oman and Yemen. Roman was involved in creating feasability studies, architecture, contractor assignment, HOE ordering up to successful start up and hiring/training the teams. Hence, it is selfexplanatory that Hospitality Solutions is the ideal partner for any hospitality business.
Roman is happily married to his wife Mariana, a Romanian native and they have a 9 year old son named Julian – Quentin and a 6 month old daughter named Imperia - Elisabeth. In his rare free time, Roman enjoys spending time with his family as well as doing all kind of sports such as Skiing, Tennis, Jogging and Fitness. Besides that, Roman is very interested in Wine & Food and Architecture but also in History and Geographic.
Roman speaks German and English fluent, has some knowledge of French and Russian as well as is currently learning Romanian.
